These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of WordFokus ("we," "our," or "us"), a Google Docs add-on designed to enhance writing productivity. By installing, accessing, or using WordFokus, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

By using WordFokus, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use WordFokus.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use WordFokus. By using WordFokus, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

Description of Service

WordFokus is a productivity tool that integrates with Google Docs to provide:

• Distraction-free writing environments through various focus modes
• Writing statistics and analytics
• Achievement and streak tracking
• Customization options for the writing experience

User Accounts and Subscriptions

Free Plan

WordFokus offers a free version with core features available to all users.

Premium Features

We offer enhanced functionality through premium features available via subscription. By purchasing a subscription:

• You agree to pay the subscription fees indicated at the time of purchase
• Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel it before the renewal date
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
• No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods

Payment Processing

Payment information is processed through secure, third-party payment processors. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to update this information as necessary.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use WordFokus only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use WordFokus to violate any applicable law or regulation
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of WordFokus or its servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of WordFokus
• Decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of WordFokus
• Use WordFokus in a manner that could disable, overburden, or impair the functionality of the service
• Attempt to circumvent any usage limits or restrictions

Intellectual Property Rights

Our Intellectual Property

WordFokus and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content

We do not claim ownership of any content that you create using WordFokus. You retain all rights to your documents and writing.

Disclaimer of Warranties

WORDFOKUS IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that:

• WordFokus will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free
• Any errors or defects will be corrected
• WordFokus is free of viruses or other harmful components

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use WordFokus
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or any data stored therein
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from WordFokus
• Any bugs, viruses, or the like that may be transmitted through WordFokus

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including without limitation reasonable attorney fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of WordFokus or your violation of these Terms.

Third-Party Services

WordFokus integrates with Google Docs and operates within the Google Workspace environment. Your use of WordFokus is also subject to Google's Terms of Service.

For premium features, we use third-party payment processors who have their own terms of service.

Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, WordFokus (or any part thereof) with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the service.

Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available within the add-on or on our website. By continuing to use WordFokus after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

Governing Law
